Hey there! 

We recently came across this recipe on Punch Drink's website and definitely wanted to give it a go! This rum sour recipe comes from the Savoy Cocktail Book and was originally made with wormwood bitters. We replaced the wormwood bitters with a combination of absinthe and orange bitters. We also added a few dashes of Fee Foam for a little bit of froth. We hope you enjoy! As always, if you make any of our drinks, take a picture and share them with us online! This makes 1 drink! Let's get started!

Here's what you need:

For Garnish
Pinch of Nutmeg 

For Drink
1 3/4 oz. - 2 oz. Un-aged Haitian Rum
3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
3/4 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
3-4 Dashes Orange Bitters
3-4 Dashes Fee Foam
~1 Barspoon Absinthe
Ice
 

You will also need 1 coupe glass or nick & nora glass, a shaker cup, strainer and bar spoon. 

Let's Make the Drink!

1. Let's chill our glass first. You can either place your glass in the freezer or fill the glass with ice and water and set aside.

2. Add all of your ingredients to the shaker cup:

   • Un-aged Haitian Rum (1 3/4 oz. - 2 oz)

   • Simple Syrup (3/4 oz.)

   • Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice (3/4 oz.)

   • Dashes Orange Bitters (3-4 dashes)

   • Dashes Fee Foam (3-4 dashes)

   • Absinthe (~1 barspoon)

   • Ice

3. ​​​​​​Shake well.​

4. Strain into your chilled coup glass or Nick & Nora.

5. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

6. Enjoy!!
