Mixology Monday With The Leveretts - Shawty Get Loose

February 06, 2023  •  Leave a Comment

Hey There!

Every February we share recipes made with black owned spirits, and this year is no different. This recipe comes from T-Pain's cocktail book, Can I Mix You a Drink. We used Uncle Nearest Rye Whiskey for this bold, Manhattan like cocktail. Nathan "Nearest" Green, known as Uncle Nearest was a former slave who taught Jack Daniel distilling in the 1800s. Now, Uncle Nearest is the most successful black owned distillery in the world. Learn more about Uncle Nearest here. We hope you enjoy! As always, if you make any of our drinks, take a picture and share them with us online! Instagram ---> @ staynfocusimages
