"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day."
-Edith Lovejoy Pierce
The ending of another year, another decade and welcoming a new one can be bitter sweet. So is this take on a classic sparkling wine cocktail. This recipe calls for aromatic bitters. There are many types of bitters; they are made from botanicals, herbs, nuts, roots or fruit and are combined with flavorless alcohol. We used the most popular version, Angostura Bitters, when making this cocktail but if you would like a stronger orange flavor, use orange peel bitters instead. We hope you enjoy! As always, if you make any of our drinks, take a picture and share them with us online! Instagram ---> @ staynfocusimages
This recipe makes 4 drinks and can easily be scaled up for any sized NYE party! Let's get started!
