We know you might be there at home, listening to D-Nice's Live Stream or binge watching Netflix... looking at your home bar wondering what you can get into, [enter the Long Island Iced Tea]! A classic Long Island Iced Tea is a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, including the left over sour mix we made last week. We thought this would be the perfect thing to make this week. This recipe makes 2 drinks. Let's get LIIT!
2 Lemon Slices
1 oz White Rum
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Gin
1 oz Grand Marnier (may substitute with Triple Sec)
2 oz Sour Mix (see Sour Mix ingredients and steps below)
2 oz Cola (may substitute with real sweetened black tea)
2 High Ball Glasses (or Rocks Tumblers as shown)
For Sour Mix
1-part Lime Juice (2oz. minimum)
1-part Lemon Juice (2oz. minimum)
1-part Granulated Sugar (4 tablespoons minimum)
1-part Water (2oz. minimum)
You'll also need a Shaker Cup and Hawthorn Strainer
Note: If you happen to make more sour mix than you need for this drink, you can store the extra in the fridge.
