Hey There!

It's national bourbon day so we definitely wanted to feature it in this week's cocktail. The Paper Plane cocktail was invented in 2008 by Sam Ross and is a modern take on the class Last Word cocktail. Ross was inspired by M.I.A. hit song at the time and garnished the drink with a paper plane. We opted for a orange peel instead. We hope you enjoy! Here's what you need:

For Garnish
1 orange peel curl

For Drink
3/4 oz. Bourbon
3/4 oz. Aperol
3/4 oz. Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
3/4 oz. Fresh Squeeze Lemon Juice

You will also need 1 coup glass, a shaker cup, hawthorne strainer,  and ice.

Let's Make the Drink!

1. In shaker cup glass, add: 

   • Ice

   • Bourbon (3/4 oz.)

   • Aperol  (3/4 oz.)

   • Amaro Nonino (3/4 oz.)

   • Lemon Juice (3/4 oz.)

2. Shake 20 seconds or so.

3. Strain into your coup glass.

4. Garnish with your orange peel curl.

5. Sip slow and enjoy your flight!
