Mixology Monday With The Leveretts - Rosemary Greyhound

September 05, 2022  •  Leave a Comment

Hey There,

According to Thrillist.com, the Greyhound cocktail was originally made with gin  & grapefruit juice and is considered the O.G. Gin and Juice. "In 1945, Harper’s magazine published a similar recipe, swapping out gin for vodka, and calling the drink a Greyhound... attributing the cocktail to a chain of restaurants owned by the Greyhound bus line. Today, Greyhounds can be made with either vodka or gin, but vodka is the most commonly used spirit." We infused a simple syrup with rosemary for today's cocktail. We hope you enjoy! As always, if you make any of our drinks, take a picture and share them with us online!
