Mixology Monday With The Leveretts - White Russian

December 14, 2020  •  Leave a Comment

Hey there,

The White Russian is our nod to the dude (or his dudeness... if you're not into the whole brevity thing). Historically, there does not appear to be any documented evidence of a White Russian cocktail until sometime into the 1960s. Then in the 1998 Coen Brothers classic, “The Big Lebowski,” the drink was catapulted to cult-classic status. Our twist on this anytime cocktail adds an unexpected pleasant vanilla finish. For the casual mixologist with 5 minutes to "spare", this drink is as easy as taking candy from a baby. We hope you enjoy! As always, if you make any of our drinks, take a picture and share them with us online! Here's what you need:

For Drink
3 1/3 oz. Vanilla Infused Vodka (We used Smirnoff)
1 1/2 oz. Kahlua
4 oz. Heavy Cream

For Garnish
2 White Chocolate Chunks
2 Cocktail Picks

You will also need, mixing glass, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, and 2 rocks tumblers.

Let's Make the Garnish!

  1. Melt chocolate chunk onto cocktail pick. We did this by briefly heating the cocktail pick and them quickly pressing it into the choclate.
  2. Allow to set in fridge/freezer while you make the drink.
